Who is Fenerum?
Fenerum is a SaaS company headquartered in Aarhus, with operations extending to Finland, Norway and Poland. They specialise in financial automation, subscription management and invoicing solutions. The team behind Fenerum consists of 10 employees, with the majority based at the office in Aarhus. As a smaller organisation in growth, Fenerum focuses on keeping their processes simple and effective, including when it comes to GDPR compliance.
How did Fenerum work with compliance before .legal?
Fenerum previously used an American compliance platform, which functioned in many ways but proved to be too comprehensive and expensive. The solution generally lacked overview of their compliance status and how they stood in relation to documentation and tasks. The solution was too complex for everyday use, and the many features confused more than they benefited.
"With .legal, we've gained a simpler and more manageable solution that better suits our needs" says Rasmus Boutrup, Financial Controller at Fenerum
They specifically chose .legal because it's a European platform, without unnecessary complexity and with the possibility to scale alongside the company's growth.
Which products does Fenerum use?
Today, Fenerum uses .legal's data protection module, which covers precisely the needs they have, without paying for features they don't use. This has given them a much better overview of both documentation and tasks and freed up time in their daily operations.
They particularly highlight how the platform is intuitive to use and how it makes it easy to keep track of deadlines and tasks. Reminders and notifications help the team plan well in advance and reduce compliance concerns.
With the data protection module, you're quickly helped to get started with the templates included. The templates are designed so you don't need to start completely from scratch with documentation work, but rather get off to a good start. Administration of user roles and delegation of tasks means the entire team, even if there are only two people, can collaborate on documentation and gain the necessary overview of tasks.
You can find more details about the data protection module here.
Onboarding and support
Fenerum quickly got started with the .legal platform and they report receiving good support during the onboarding process. This gave them a secure start and made it easy to implement the platform as part of daily operations. We know that new systems can seem overwhelming at the start, and at .legal we place great emphasis on making the transition as smooth as possible. Therefore, onboarding is included in the price for all paid modules, and we ensure users are thoroughly prepared before, during and after launch. Subsequently, our support team stands ready to help when needed.
We also offer to help migrate your previous documentation into the .legal platform. If you'd like to know more about how we help with migration, you can read about the process here.
