1. Purpose and Scope
1.1
The .legal Non-Profit Programme is created to support non-profit organisations worldwide, including legally registered NGOs, charitable associations, and similar entities. The Programme provides access to essential compliance tools at a highly discounted rate, helping non-profits manage governance, risk, and compliance efficiently so they can focus on delivering their core social impact.
2. Discount Benefits
2.1
Eligible organisations are entitled to a 90% discount on all subscription plans, except for certain premium features (e.g., AI Assistant), which may be excluded. The discounted rate remains valid as long as the organisation maintains its verified non-profit status. .legal reserves the right to review and update the discount level or pricing structure with prior written notice.
3. Eligibility Requirements
3.1
To qualify for participation in the Programme, an organisation must:
- Be legally registered as a non-profit, non-governmental organisation (NGO), charitable association, or similar entity.
- Operate primarily for public benefit and not for private gain.
- Provide valid documentation verifying non-profit status (e.g., bylaws, registration certificate, or tax-exempt confirmation).
3.2
.legal reserves the right to determine eligibility at its sole discretion.
4. Application and Verification Process
4.1
Upon creating an account, organisations may apply for the Programme by sending an email to hello@dotlegal.com with proof of non-profit status, such as bylaws or equivalent documentation.
4.2
.legal may request additional information or documentation to verify eligibility. All applications are manually reviewed, and applicants will be notified of approval or rejection via email.
5. Payment Terms
5.1
All billing, invoicing, and payment processes are governed by the .legal Terms of Service.
6. Permitted Use
6.1
The Non-Profit Programme is intended solely for internal use by eligible organisations to support their non-profit activities. Use of the platform for commercial, profit-making, or third-party purposes is strictly prohibited.
6.2
Participants may not resell, sublicense, or otherwise distribute access to .legal’s platform or services.
6.3
.legal reserves the right to suspend or terminate participation with 30 days’ written notice if eligibility criteria are no longer met or these Terms are violated.
7. Relationship to .legal Terms of Service
7.1
These Non-Profit Programme Terms form an integral part of the .legal Terms of Service. In case of any inconsistency between these Terms and the .legal Terms of Service, these Terms shall prevail for matters specifically related to the Non-Profit Programme.
8. Modifications to the Programme
8.1
.legal reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Non-Profit Programme at any time. Reasonable notice will be provided to participating organisations prior to any material change.
