GDPR & Privacy Risk assess your processings
According to the General Data Protection Regulation, the data controller must continuously make risk assessments of the data subjects' rights. The risk assessment is made for all your processing activities and is made on the basis of a probability and consequence approach. What is the probability that you lose personal data for the data subject? And what is the consequence if this happens? Based on these parameters, the processing activity is given an overall risk score.
As a data controller, you must have a process in case a processing activity has a high risk. This is about reducing the risk, which i.a. can be done through technical and organisational measures.
